Business Development Representative

Our client is seeking an Account Executive to join their team in Somerville, MA.  You'll be a key member of their business development team and will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle for enterprise-level clients and projects.  

Day-to-day, you’ll be driving new business forward by qualifying leads, responding to RFPs,  creating detailed proposals, organizing pitches, and negotiating contracts. You will work with the sales team and larger team to qualify, scope, and close new projects.

Other things about you:

  • You have a natural curiosity and want to help people and organizations improve
  • You have a general understanding of digital marketing, paid search, and SEO
  • You have an general understanding of content management systems, experience with Drupal and/or Wordpress is a plus
  • You are comfortable discussing strategy, design, process, technology, and business goals with prospective clients
  • You are a great listener

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Manage the full sales cycle for assigned leads
  • Write and respond to RFIs/RFPs
  • Broad knowledge of digital marketing and web technology
  • 2+ years relevant experience at a digital agency
  • A B.A. or B.S. degree
