Based in New York our client makes collecting money fast, easy, and highly predictive through the use of modern technologies. The product is a SaaS application that connects to customers ERP systems, downloads accounts receivable information and facilitates collection process automation, as well as provides analytics and tools for the collection teams to efficiently work with accounts receivables.

Enterprise Integrations Lead

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer and collaborating with the VP of Customer Success, you will lead the integration-related engineering efforts through helping identify the right integration architectures and strategies.  You will work with the engineering team as well as collaborate with customers, partners, ERPs and other departments.

Success in this role will come from making the integrations approach as precise, effective and scalable as possible to minimize the customer onboarding time and decrease churn. You will work with a high-performing delivery team to develop and deliver ERP connectors, APIs and other integrations-related product components.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Hands-on engineering experience building enterprise level systems that involve heavy ERP integrations (both – SaaS-based and on premise) through API or other means.
  • Fluency in understanding the ERP/CRM APIs and typical data structures, as well as limitations of those APIs.
  • Experience managing distributed engineering teams of 5-10 engineers.
  • Hands-on experience with Java stack of technologies.
  • Understanding of the Service-oriented Architecture and Continuous delivery concepts.
  • Understanding of the main principles of the Agile software development.

The main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing the Integrations engineering team, help them identify the right tactics, finding answers to particular questions.
  • Identifying the architecture approaches and tools we should be using to improve and scale our connectors and API.
  • Working with the Integrations team to code and improve our connectors, public API and developer portal.
  • Diligently addressing obstacles as they appear.
  • Supporting clients and partners while they are building connectors to their ERP system.
  • Managing relationships with ERP consultants and ERPs to get the help from them on open questions.
  • Collaborating with Customer Success team to identify and prioritize integration-related issues and help them minimizing onboarding time and making our customer happy.
  • Collaborating with CTO and Product Team to define the priorities for integration backlog.
  • Providing ballpark estimates on connector implementations and other integration improvements.
  • Providing reporting to the CTO on the progress in the integrations team.
  • Researching and communicating ideas to improve our integration strategy.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience developing enterprise applications that involved integrations.
  • Relevant domain knowledge in ERP integrations (NetSuite, Intacct, MS Dynamics, Accumatica, Oracle, etc.).
  • Expert knowledge of the principles behind enterprise data integrations and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience with Java, Spring, RESTful & SOAP APIs, SQL.
  • Minimum 3 year’s experience managing 5-10 people teams in Agile process.
  • Experience with ETL tools or integration tools like MuleSoft, Informatica, PilotFish or others.

Education

  • BA/BS in Computer Science (or other quantitative disciplines); Master’s degree preferred.
