PHYSICIAN RECRUITER

Our client is seeking an experienced Physician Recruiter to exceed internal staffing objectives by evaluating and hiring high quality candidates while maintaining excellent service to internal clients.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: 

  • Generate leads and candidates by cold calling, contacting current providers for referrals, advertising specific opportunities, attending medical conferences, exhibits, and career fairs to recruit and network with providers.
  • Screening leads and candidates by reviewing provider qualifications, application, CV, and work history/background and referring screened, qualified, and interested candidates to Hiring Managers and/or Regional Managers for review and feedback.
  • Interviewing and closing candidates by coordinating interview dates with candidates and Hiring Managers, conducting interviews onsite as needed, negotiating financial terms, shift commitments, and contract discussions with providers and their attorneys if applicable, and building rapport and trust with appropriate people to effectuate the close of the candidate.
  • Responsible for help in retention of providers by remaining the point of contact for providers to direct them to the proper department, acting as sounding board for issues/concerns, working closely with Hiring Managers to keep them apprised of issues/concerns and assisting in problem-solving to retain providers, attending client management meetings and preparing agenda and staffing projections.
  • Working closely with other members of the Talent Acquisition team to strategize on high priority needs.
  • Improves organization employment brand by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
  • Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Gives presentations at colleges, attends student group meetings, and increases college awareness of the company before and after career fairs.
  • Maintain candidate information and manage the talent acquisition process using the iCIMS Applicant Tracking System.
  • Reporting & Metrics as required.
  • All other duties as assigned.

KNOWDLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of recent recruitment experience.
  • Experience with passive candidate sourcing is required.
  • Proficiency with recruitment related tools and technology including but not limited to ATS(S), CRM, Internet Mining, Social Media Platforms and Sourcing.
  • Experience with the iCIMS Application Tracking System is a plus.
  • AIRS or other recruitment related certifications are a plus.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, pre-closing and closing skills. 
  • Previous experience and demonstrated success in physician recruitment with specific emphasis on Psychiatrists.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, some travel required.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
